On Sunday (28/1/07) Tim invited the Family Praise worshippers to take part in a 3 P challenge.  Each day we are asked to fulfill Patience, Protection or Perseverance.  This comes from 1 Corinthians 13.

Sunday Worship

Family Praise - 9.45am
 A family worship service with music provided by our music group.
There is a play mat for toddlers and children's groups (PACES) meet during the service.
1st, 3rd & 4th Sundays in the month at 9:45 AM for approx. 60 mins

Family Parade Service
On the second Sunday in the month the church family gathers for a joint act of worship during which we are joined by cubs, scouts and brownies
2nd Sunday in the month at 11:00 AM for approx. 60 mins
This event is NOT every week  

Morning Worship - 11am
Services follow the Common Worship Service Book. Hymns from the Mission Praise Combined Edition are accompanied by the organ. The pattern of services is 1st Sunday Holy Communion 2nd Sunday Family Parade Praise all age worship 3rd Sunday Holy Communion 4th Sunday BCP Morning Prayer or Baptism

Mid Week Worship

Life styles are changing almost daily. For some regular worship on a Sunday is not possible. this event provides opportunity for worship and fellowship as well as delving deeper into the Bible. The event is open to all who want spiritual refreshment during the week. This service takes place at St Matthews Church Thatto Heath
Tuesday at 7:30 PM for approx. 90 mins  

WOW! Service
WOW! (Worship on Wednesday) is an act of worship held in the local school, Eccleston Lane Ends School. It is for children attending the school (accompanied by parent or guardian) and begins at the end of the school day. (3.15pm) As the name of the service implies it is held each Wednesday during term time. The aim of the service is to raise the children's awareness of God's love for them and give them a taste of worship in a familiar setting. The pattern of the service is as follows:- Welcome with Juice and coffee; Opening prayer; Song; Talk; Craft work related to the talk; Prayer time using prayers written by the children from the Prayer Table; Song; Closing prayer.
Every Wednesday during term time at 3:15 PM for approx. 60 mins
